TruABI™
Peripheral Vascular Disease
The remote simplifies exams with push-button control, allowing easy site transitions, clear pressure display, one-touch inflation, automated deflation, and quick waveform generation with 3 billing codes.
TruABI™ is a medical device that measures Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD), a condition in which the large and medium-sized arteries supply blood to the arteries of the arms or legs and become narrow or clogged with plaque, constricting blood flow.
TruABI™ enables efficient, high-quality vascular assessments through single-level ABI testing, along with exercise and stress exams, all within a streamlined workflow. It captures detailed pulse volume (PPG) and toe waveforms to support comprehensive vascular evaluation, while also offering a rapid ABI exam—a Doppler-free assessment that can be performed by support staff, making it ideal for patients with calcified arteries.
Built for clinical efficiency, TruABI™ features automated cuff selection with precise inflation and deflation to reduce user variability. Its portable roll-stand design allows easy movement between exam rooms, and the adjustable height ensures ergonomic use for providers. A virtual remote backup system supports continuous operation without interruption.
From a practice growth standpoint, TruABI™ supports reimbursable ABI testing, creating a strong and consistent revenue opportunity. DICOM compatibility allows seamless integration with existing imaging systems, and comprehensive, full-page reports help ensure accurate documentation, coding, and reimbursement.
Early detection of Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) is critical. Many patients remain asymptomatic in early stages, yet untreated PAD can lead to heart attack, stroke, amputation, or death. TruABI helps identify at-risk patients earlier—including those without symptoms—allowing providers to intervene sooner with appropriate medical management and lifestyle changes that improve long-term outcomes.
